Client: LAMP • Project: The P Stands for Protest
Deliverables: Brand Update • BTS Video Series • Music Video
This was a really early branding project for me (Andrew). Our goal was to pull together fonts that both represented the bands edgy nature and gave it some refinement. We also had the added challenge of working within their current logo design and finding a font that matched it closely for a high quality update.
Along with the pro-bono quick brand, Pruim Digital Media (the predecessor to Visten Creative) got a team of college students and recent graduates together to create a multi-camera music video production and BTS video series.
The P Stands for Protest Video Series
Preproduction: Client Meeting, Location Scouting, Studio Booking, Brand Update, Talent Management, Call Sheets, Crew Training
Production: Director, Camera Operator, Control Room Operator, Audio Technician, Lighting, Multi-Cam Production, Interviewer
Post Production: Video Editing, Audio Editing, Graphics, Special Effects
Marketing: TV Broadcast, Event Promotion, Coordinated Additional Live Gigs
This series of videos brought together both my (Andrew’s) love for team studio projects and behind the scenes (BTS) work. For the BTS videos we hosted interviews with band’s leader and the band’s song writer about how the song “The P Stands for Protest” came to be.
The final production was the result of a small team of camera operators and set dressers working together under the direction of Pruim Digital Media. After the recording we were able to broadcast on WKTV and land LAMP a gig with a local conference for their after party.
